Hasan joined LCV in January of 2007. As a legislative advocate, his legislative priorities include public lands issues, transportation and energy as well as water legislation. Prior to joining LCV, Hasan served as a field organizer in Missouri for the successful campaign of current U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill. In that capacity, Hasan assisted in minority outreach and oversaw all volunteer operations in Northeast Kansas City. Hasan holds a Bachelor Degree in political science from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
