Steve Moyer is currently Trout Unlimited's Vice President for Government Affairs. Steve heads up TU's volunteer operations program and works closely with conservation staff to integrate TU's conservation agenda with their grassroots work. He's also their specialist on Capitol Hill, where he works for clean water and fish-friendly legislation before Congress and other government agencies. Looking for advice on how to deal with your state legislature? Steve assists TU members with their state and local advocacy efforts and develops and implements TU grassroots advocacy campaigns. Prior to joining TU, Steve led advocacy efforts at the National Wildlife Federation on behalf of fisheries and wetlands. He holds a B.S. in Wildlife Management from the University of Maine and an M.S. in Fisheries Science from Virginia Tech.
