Jennifer Peters
Jennifer first joined the Clean Water Network as our policy analyst in June 2008 and is currently CWN's Deputy Director. Her work and educational experiences have focused heavily on water and the issues surrounding the water resources of this country. Most recently Jennifer worked as a research assistant with the City of New York’s Park and Recreation department to develop a wetland monitoring protocol for New York City parks. During graduate school she received an EPA National Network for Environmental Management Studies (NNEMS) fellowship to conduct research on wetland restoration strategies at the U.S. EPA Region 2. Prior to graduate school, Jennifer served two years with the AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Project and worked with the California Conservation Corps to protect and restore critical habitat for endangered and threatened Pacific salmon species. Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Humboldt State University in 2002 and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Policy from the Bard Center for Environmental Policy at Bard College in 2007.
