The Clean Water Network has also been the beneficiary of in-kind services generously donated from a number of organizations and firms. We are especially grateful to the Washington D.C. law firm of Steptoe and Johnson, for contributing an unbelievable number of hours to assist CWN with filing incorporation papers, drafting official organizational by-laws and preparing and submitting the group's 501-c3 paperwork to the IRS. Without Steptoe and Johnson's assistance, CWN would not have been able to get off the ground so quickly to form an independent organization when it left the Natural Resources Defense Council.
