Idaho Conservation League*

Who We Are

The Idaho Conservation League is Idaho’s leading voice for conservation.

With 17 staff in 3 offices across the state, we are proud to live in and around one of the most beautiful western landscapes.

We know that protecting Idaho’s outdoor values—clean air, wilderness, wildlife and clean water—transcends partisan politics. We also know that energy conservation is about cutting waste, a value that resonates with all Idahoans.

Our work includes protecting our wilderness and public lands. To do so, we monitor mining and logging, motorized recreation management, wildlife protection and more. We encourage people to enjoy "wild Idaho"—those who know it, love and protect it.

We also work to protect our homes and communities. Are our air and water clean and safe? Are our government policies encouraging serving the health and lives of our families? Is energy being conserved, renewable sources prioritized and waste eliminated?
