Save the Dunes is Northwest Indiana's advocate for air, land and water. It consists of two organizations:

• Save the Dunes Council, an organization with lobbying capabilities supported by members and donations
• Save the Dunes Conservation Fund, a 501(c)3 organization supported by donations, planned giving and grants

The Common Mission of the Save the Dunes Council and Save the Dunes Conservation Fund is to preserve, protect and restore the Indiana Dunes and all natural resources in Northwest Indiana's Lake Michigan Watershed for an enhanced quality of life.
