Sierra Club Hoosier Chapter

The Indiana/Hoosier Chapter of the Sierra Club celebrated 25 years of environmental activism in 2000. It is an active and vibrant organization that works to accomplish the Sierra Club's mission to:

  1. Explore, enjoy and protect the wild places of the earth.
  2. Practice and promote responsible use of the earth's ecosystems and resources.
  3. Educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment.

From community issues and action, to lobbying on a state and national level, the club works to take effective action where it's needed most. Members enjoy volunteering with like-minded folks, and take advantage of the many great outings, resources, programs, and local, state, and national training seminars that are worthwhile and fun.
