Hands Across the Sand

Events were held up and down south Florida beaches yesterday - as well as throughout the state, country and planet. Hopefully this is where we begin to truly turn things around: No to more offshore drilling and Yes to clean, renewable energy. Found out a surprising fact the other day while researching electric cars (since gasoline and diesel fuel is what we use the bulk of our oil for no matter where it comes from). Check out this timeline to see how long they've been 'available':

Here are 3 articles on Hands events in south Florida. I've read that Florida Governor and senate candidate Charlie Crist made a cameo appearance at an event on the panhandle. Obviously, it would be great if his current position on offshore is his final one.

You can also download your videos and photos of Hands events (from anywhere on the planet) on the Hands Across the Sand Youtube and Flickr accounts. The sites will get a lot of traffic and the images are powerful. See instructions on the Hands website (just below the map of the USA):

Thanks to all who showed up and participated yesterday.
