These persons' ability to use these waters for nature study, drinking water, commercial fishing, recreation-based business, swimming and other forms of recreation are adversely affected by pollution which harms freshwater mussels and other aquatic life that are essential to the ecological balance and biodiversity of our rivers, lakes and streams.
