Region 7- Mid America
Region Seven consists of Iowa, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
The major water bodies running through this area include the Missouri River, the Mississippi River and the Platte River. Groundwater is a major resource in this region as well, particularly the High Plains Aquifer.
